The socioeconomic decisions found behind the protocols, standards, algorithms and interface designs that together constitute
media infrastructure space, affect our bodily actions, behaviors, and consequently, how we position ourselves in the world. In this work I focus on the
marginalia and border elements of negative space shared across various websites and databases, produced by the text through which they differ.

The visual contours and contextual forms are then further acted upon using the photogrammetric and image analysis tools that often guide
my thinking when navigating between the digital and physical domains. Here, the result is a combination of sculpture and photographic image,
which is meant to inscribe in the viewer a sense of uneasy familiarity, getting at the “weight” of the digital, or the choices we make when faced with
the technologies we help build whether through complacence or for financial gain, all of which contribute to the offline consequences of online lifestyles.
