The characters and their costumes represented in this series of photographs are the result of direct or near-direct conversations with the protesters
on which the series is based. In the majority of the images, the outfits worn are those created by the protagonists themselves. In situations where their
equipment could not be obtained, every attempt was made to reproduce the costumes, and the range of ideological signifiers contained in them,
as accurately as possible.
